"Suki" in the context of pottery usually refers to the Japanese aesthetic concept of "suki-gata" which embodies an appreciation for simple, understated beauty and refinement. While not a specific type of pottery, it's a guiding principle for how pottery is made. It's about a refined, understated elegance, a love of simplicity, and an appreciation for the subtle beauty of natural forms and materials.
Appreciation of Imperfection
Crafting Beautiful Pottery
"Suki" also involves an appreciation for the beauty of imperfection and the marks of time on a piece.
Our journey began with a passion for pottery and artistry, and the way the kiln kisses each piece, moulds and melts the glazes.
We aim to provide our clients with unique, one of a kind, pieces that will be cherished and loved as much as we loved them in the making.

Sustainable Practices
Our commitment to sustainability ensures eco-friendly materials and production methods. We create from clay, which is derived from the natural weathering and breakdown of rocks. We fire in the kiln selectively, we recycle clay and use and re-use water. Its our responsibility to not only respect the environment but conserve it.
